National Party Criticizes ‘Form 47 Politics’, Calls for Genuine Democratic Rule

Quetta: Leaders of the National Party have said that denying genuine political leadership its right to govern and promoting what they termed “Form 47 politics” will not bring stability to Pakistan.
The remarks were made during the inauguration of a party office in Hazara Town, where a large public gathering was held. Addressing the event, party Secretary General Mir Kabir Muhammad Shahi stated that political and economic stability in Pakistan cannot be achieved unless true democratic leadership is allowed to govern.
He emphasized that recognizing the ownership and control of resources by respective nations is essential, adding that national and class issues cannot be suppressed without addressing fundamental rights.
Provincial President Aslam Baloch said Pakistan is a multi-national state and despite Balochistan being rich in resources, its people—including بلوچ، سندھی، پشتون اور ہزارہ communities—continue to face severe hardships due to inequality and exploitation.
Other speakers, including Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Atta Muhammad Bangulzai, and Dr Ramzan Hazara, also addressed the gathering, calling for Pakistan to be transformed into a democratic welfare state to ensure peace and prosperity.
The leaders demanded immediate resolution of basic civic issues in Hazara Town, including shortages of water, electricity, and gas.
On the occasion, several political workers announced their joining of the National Party, while the party leadership formally inaugurated the new office.
