PSDP 2026–27 to Play Key Role in Balochistan’s Economic Growth and Public Welfare: Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan

A meeting regarding the preparation of the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2026–27 was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Zahid Saleem, along with secretaries of concerned departments. Detailed discussions were held on development projects related to agriculture, Communication and Works (C&W), irrigation, schools, health, Public Health Engineering (PHE), livestock, colleges, and other relevant sectors.
While addressing the meeting, the Chief Secretary emphasized that PSDP 2026–27 holds vital importance for Balochistan’s economic development, food security, and public welfare. He directed all departments to accelerate their efforts while keeping public issues and the province’s overall development priorities in focus.
He further stated that effective and transparent utilization of public resources would facilitate the journey toward sustainable development and prosperity in the province, stressing that officers of all relevant departments must play their role to achieve these objectives.
