Pakistan Hopes to Bring Iran and US Back to Negotiating Table Soon: PM Sources

Islamabad (Kudrat Daily) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed optimism that efforts will soon succeed in bringing Iran and the United States back to the negotiating table, according to official sources.
A key consultative meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During the meeting, the Prime Minister stated that there is hope for the resumption of dialogue between Iran and the US in the near future.
According to sources, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch.
The meeting reviewed ongoing efforts for the second phase of talks in Islamabad. The Foreign Minister briefed the Prime Minister on his contacts with foreign ministers of various countries regarding diplomatic developments.
Officials discussed Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement aimed at facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States. The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic efforts for lasting peace in the Middle East.
