Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Calls for Strong Struggle for Rights in Balochistan, Criticizes Governance Gaps

QUETTA: Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman, leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and member of the provincial assembly, has said that the struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan will continue without any compromise.
Addressing a statement in Quetta, he said that the people of the province are suffering due to prolonged issues of insecurity, underdevelopment, corruption, and lawlessness. He added that these conditions have caused widespread frustration and unrest among the public.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman stated that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue an organized and peaceful struggle at all levels to address public grievances. He said the party will intensify its constitutional and democratic efforts to secure control over resources, improve education, healthcare, and employment opportunities in the province.
He emphasized that symbolic announcements and promises are not enough, and that concrete and practical measures are necessary to resolve long-standing issues. He urged both the government and security institutions to take serious steps to improve law and order, eliminate corruption, and ensure basic facilities for citizens.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leader vowed that the party will stand with the people in building a peaceful, prosperous, and dignified Balochistan. He also called on party workers and the public to remain united and actively participate in a peaceful democratic struggle for their rights.
