Security Officials Reveal Details of Female Suicide Bomber Case, Expose Terror Network Tactics in Quetta

Quetta: Security officials have disclosed key details regarding the arrest of an alleged female suicide bomber, claiming that terrorist organizations are systematically exploiting women while also using foreign territory, including Afghanistan, for operational support.
During a detailed press briefing, officials stated that the investigation has revealed how women are being targeted through psychological manipulation, social pressure, and alleged exploitation, and in some cases prepared for terrorist activities through organized networks.
Authorities further revealed that in the present case, a suspect allegedly used his wife’s identity and personal details to establish links with terrorist groups. They also claimed that a female suicide bomber had stayed at the same residence and was later sent to Afghanistan for training purposes.
Officials emphasized that such incidents challenge the perception that women involved in these networks are always forcibly disappeared, stating that in some cases individuals voluntarily leave their homes and become part of extremist structures, which are later used for propaganda against the state.
They added that multiple groups are involved in different stages of the network, including ideological indoctrination, recruitment, training, and execution of attacks.
According to officials, if a female attacker succeeds, she is glorified and used as a recruitment symbol, while in case of failure or arrest, the organizations disassociate themselves.
The briefing also highlighted that the alleged use of women in such activities is contrary to cultural and religious values. Officials stressed that exposing and dismantling such networks is essential for counter-terrorism efforts, and investigations are ongoing.
