Israel Targets Asaluyeh Petrochemical Complex in Iran, Causing Major Disruptions

Tehran: Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed that Israel carried out an attack on Iran’s largest Asaluyeh petrochemical complex on Monday, describing it as a significant economic blow to Iran.

According to Iranian news agency Fars News Agency, multiple explosions were reported at the South Pars Petrochemical Complex located in Asaluyeh.

The Tasnim News Agency reported that facilities supplying electricity, water, and oxygen to Asaluyeh were targeted, resulting in a complete shutdown of power across all petrochemical units in the complex.

Tasnim also cited the Deputy Governor of Bushehr, confirming that several production units in Asaluyeh suffered damage due to the attack.
