Misha Shafi Reacts on Social Media Following Legal Defeat Against Ali Zafar

Islamabad: Renowned singer Misha Shafi has shared her response on social media after the court ruled in favor of Ali Zafar in the defamation case.

Through Instagram Stories, Misha Shafi posted messages and poetry highlighting women’s resilience and independence, signaling that she views this moment as a personal challenge and is now focusing on self-care and moving forward.

She stated that she has gone through the experience and is now moving toward a journey of healing. “Speaking the truth is my real achievement, and I will continue to strengthen myself through my work,” she wrote.

The dispute began nearly eight years ago when Misha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of harassment, leading to a prolonged legal battle between the two.

In the recent court decision, the ruling favored Ali Zafar, and Misha Shafi was ordered to pay PKR 5 million in damages.
