Militants Attack PDMA Machinery Truck in Surab, No Casualties Reported

Quetta:** Unknown armed men attacked a truck transporting machinery of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority in Surab district of Balochistan, police said on Friday. No loss of life was reported in the incident.

According to officials, the attack took place in the Khaliqabad area between Zehri Cross and Zero Point, where assailants intercepted a truck carrying two dozers from Karachi to Quetta.

The attackers opened fire on the vehicle’s tyres, causing them to burst and rendering the truck immobile on the spot.

Following the incident, security forces rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation to trace the suspects.

Authorities said further investigation into the attack is underway.
