Thunderstorms and Rain Expected in Karachi Ahead of Eid

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and rainfall in the city on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Eid, urging residents to take precautionary measures.
According to an early warning alert issued by the Met Office, the weather is expected to remain cloudy with chances of thunderstorms and rain, including heavy downpours in some areas. Strong winds may also accompany the rain, posing a risk to weak infrastructure.
The department stated that maximum temperatures are likely to range between 33°C and 35°C, while minimum temperatures may remain between 21°C and 23°C. Humidity levels are expected to stay high, between 75% and 85%.
Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during the forecast period and to stay in contact with relevant emergency services in case of any untoward situation.
