UAE Arrests 25 Individuals Over Social Media Activities Threatening National Security

Authorities in the **United Arab Emirates** have arrested 25 individuals accused of using social media in activities that threatened national security.

According to officials, the detainees include **17 citizens of India**, **two each from Pakistan**, **Nepal**, and the **Philippines**, as well as one individual each from **Bangladesh** and **Egypt**.

Authorities stated that the suspects were operating in three separate groups. One of the groups allegedly used **artificial intelligence** to create fake videos, which were then circulated on social media platforms.

Officials said investigations are ongoing and further legal action will be taken in accordance with the country’s laws.
