Balochistan Govt Provides Billions in Interest-Free Loans to Farmers Under Green Pakistan Initiative
Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced that the provincial government has disbursed Rs3.2 billion in interest-free loans to 847 farmers under Phase II of the Green Pakistan Initiative.
According to the chief minister, the loans will enable cultivation on 35,609 acres of land across the province, boosting agricultural productivity and supporting rural livelihoods.
He added that under Phase I of the Green Pakistan Initiative, 257 farmers had already been provided interest-free loans worth Rs6.85 billion.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti further stated that the Balochistan government is extending financial assistance to underprivileged farmers through the Kissan Card program. He emphasized that the provision of interest-free loans under the Green Pakistan Initiative aims to strengthen the agricultural sector and empower farmers across the province.
