Government to Announce Ramazan Relief Package Today, Rs13,000 Cash Assistance Approved

Islamabad: The federal government is set to announce the Ramazan Relief Package today, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif scheduled to make the formal announcement during a special ceremony.

According to official sources, the announcement ceremony will be held at the Prime Minister’s House, where details of the relief package aimed at supporting low-income families during the holy month of Ramazan will be shared.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a cash assistance of Rs13,000 per family under the Ramazan Relief Package. He added that the government has also decided to expand the program to benefit an additional 1.7 million low-income families.

The initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to provide financial relief to vulnerable segments of society amid rising living costs during Ramazan.
