No Place in PTI for Those Targeting Imran Khan’s Sisters: Barrister Gohar

Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, has said that criticizing Imran Khan’s family is against party policy, stressing that there is no place in the party for anyone who passes remarks against the PTI founder’s sisters.

Talking to the media, Barrister Gohar said that a major meeting of PTI parliamentarians and members of provincial assemblies will be held today, during which professors from various fields will hold detailed discussions on national improvement. He added that Imran Khan’s health would be an important item on the agenda. He said the date for forming an alliance has already been announced and the party remains firm on its stance.

He said that a nationwide shutter-down strike has been called for February 8 and people across Pakistan have been requested to participate in the protest. He clarified that the protest is not limited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Punjab, but will be held throughout the country.

Barrister Gohar emphasized that the February 8 protest will be entirely voluntary and no one will be forced to participate. He termed February 8 a “major black day for democracy.”

Reiterating the party’s position, he said that any criticism of the PTI founder’s family violates party discipline. He urged party leaders and workers to show restraint and act responsibly, warning that those making inappropriate remarks against Imran Khan’s sisters will have no place within PTI.
