Obscene Video Scandal: Alina Aamir Announces Cash Reward for Information, Calls Video a Deepfake

Lahore: Renowned TikToker and social media influencer Alina Aamir has broken her silence over a circulating obscene video, declaring it completely fake and a deepfake created using advanced technology.

Alina stated that the video has no connection with reality and was fabricated through modern technological tools. In a clarification message shared on Instagram, she said that she initially chose to ignore the matter as she was not mentally affected by it. However, when she noticed that the alleged video was being repeatedly shared across hundreds of posts, she felt it had become necessary to speak out.

She urged social media users to verify any content before sharing it, stressing that some people can go to any extent to defame others. “At the very least, people should ensure whether the video or news they are sharing is authentic or not,” she said.

Alina Aamir also appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take strict legal action against those involved in creating deepfake or artificial videos, saying such measures are essential to protect women, especially girls, from malicious campaigns.

Concluding her statement, Alina announced a cash reward for anyone who provides credible information about the creator or distributor of the fake video. She said the move aims not only to trace the culprits but also to discourage similar incidents in the future.
