National Party Condemns Violence Against Protesters, Accuses Government of Suppressing Democratic Voices

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** The National Party (NP) strongly condemned the use of force, tear gas, and the arrests of its officials, workers, and other political employees during joint protest rallies organized by All-Parties and the Grand Alliance.

In a statement, NP’s central spokesperson criticized the Form 47 government, accusing it of attempting to suppress democratic voices through authoritarian measures to cover up its political failures. The spokesperson called the unwarranted use of tear gas and arbitrary arrests clear evidence of the government’s shift toward fascist-style governance.

The NP emphasized that the demands of the Grand Alliance are legitimate and constitutional, yet the government has chosen violence and coercion instead of serious dialogue—a stance deemed unacceptable. The party reaffirmed its full support for all peaceful protesters and employees, urging authorities to immediately release all detainees and resolve issues through dialogue with the affected staff.
