Islamabad to Ban Entry of Vehicles Without M-Tag Starting January 1

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat): The Islamabad administration has decided to block entry of vehicles without M-Tags in the capital from January 1.
According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon, actions will be taken against vehicles lacking M-Tags as per directives from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. A total of 16 points have been set up across the city for M-Tag registration.
Since November 14, approximately 100,000 vehicles have been issued M-Tags, the DC added. Vehicles without M-Tags will be identified using tag readers installed at various entry points and check posts.
The Deputy Commissioner confirmed that the tag readers will become fully operational starting January 1.
