PTI Forms Committee to Review Party Constitution, Given 10-Day Deadline

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formed a committee to review its party constitution, tasking it with removing existing shortcomings and restructuring the document in line with the constitutions of other major political parties.
According to the notification issued by the Party Constitution Review Committee, PTI’s constitution will be aligned with those of other political parties to address objections previously raised by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The committee has also been instructed to make necessary reforms ahead of the upcoming intra-party elections.
The committee has been given a strict deadline of 10 days to complete the assigned task. Members include Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja, Arif Alvi, Hamid Khan, Asad Qaiser, Raoof Hasan, and Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
