PTI Secretary-General Warns of Possible Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja has warned that the threat of Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is real. Speaking to the media, he said that decisions being taken under the current system are “based on coercion.”
Responding to a question about the possibility of Imran Khan being denied a meeting with KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Raja said that if the PTI founder is not allowed to meet today, it would be *unconstitutional*. “Such a move would not be surprising, but it would certainly be regrettable,” he added.
He further stated that the government has failed to cite any constitutional or legal provision that justifies preventing a meeting with Imran Khan.
The comments come after Senator Faisal Vawda claimed earlier that KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would **not** be allowed to meet Imran Khan today.
