Prime Minister Awarded Bahrain’s Highest Civilian Honor

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has been conferred with Bahrain’s highest civilian award, the **Order of Bahrain (First Class)**, by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during an official meeting in Manama.
The Prime Minister met the Bahraini monarch and discussed the deep-rooted, historic partnership between the two brotherly nations. He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and appreciated Bahrain’s longstanding goodwill toward Pakistan. The Prime Minister also praised the Bahraini leadership’s efforts in promoting peace, tolerance, and coexistence.
During the meeting, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa presented the Order of Bahrain (First Class) to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif — the highest honor Bahrain bestows upon global leaders.
The King also shared a significant historical connection between the two countries, revealing that, according to official Bahraini records, **Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah once served as Bahrain’s legal representative**.
The Prime Minister thanked the Bahraini leadership for the distinguished honor and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
