Former Senator Sana Baloch Criticizes Tax Policies on Balochistan’s Poor, Calls Them Unfair
**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** Former Senator of the Balochistan National Party, Sana Baloch, expressed strong criticism on social media regarding recent government policies targeting Balochistan. She stated that while the province has often led the nation in political matters, it lags behind in development, education, healthcare, and public rights.
Sana Baloch highlighted what she described as unconstitutional experiments, strict anti-terrorism laws, and the sale of mineral resources. She condemned the latest measure of imposing taxes on Balochistan’s population, which remains the poorest in the country, noting that its agricultural production accounts for just one percent of the national output.
She called the policy not only unfair but an injustice to the impoverished residents, urging the government to consider the people’s hardships when making such decisions.
