Quetta:On the occasion of the death anniversary of **Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo**, the National Party’s central spokesperson paid rich tribute to the late democratic leader, describing his services for democracy and public empowerment as part of a historic and complete political movement.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, party spokesperson **Ali Ahmad Lango** said that although many prominent leaders have struggled for the promotion of democracy, **Mir Hasil Bizenjo stood out as a pioneer of democratic resistance politics**. He added that Bizenjo gave politics a spirit of resistance and was always a strong, vocal, and practical advocate for democracy.

Ali Ahmad Lango highlighted that **Mir Hasil Bizenjo dedicated his life to fighting against national and class-based injustices, economic inequality, and exploitation**. He championed genuine democracy, the supremacy of parliament, and the rule of law and constitution.

The National Party honored its late leader on his anniversary, stating that **a commemorative event will be held on August 20 at the Karachi Arts Council**, where party president **Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch** and other key leaders, along with prominent political, journalistic, and literary figures, will address the gathering.

Lango further emphasized that **Bizenjo firmly believed that continuity in the political process was essential for national development**, and he repeatedly stressed that politics should remain the domain of political parties, built through genuine democratic processes. He warned that **artificially created parties and politicians** could plunge the country into crises.

Mir Hasil Bizenjo was also remembered for his **unwavering opposition to dictatorship in all its forms**, a stance that has been etched in history with golden words. His politics were described as transparent and unblemished, with no stain of corruption or compromise.

The National Party spokesperson added that while **the void left by Mir Hasil Bizenjo can never be filled**, compromising on his ideology and struggle would be considered a grave betrayal and national treason. The party reaffirmed its commitment to carrying forward his political vision and struggle with consistency and determination.

The statement concluded with a call for party workers and democratic forces to continue resisting undemocratic influences and uphold the legacy of a man who became a symbol of principled, progressive, and uncompromising politics in Pakistan.
