“Infidelity Is Very Painful; I Will Love Govinda Until My Last Breath,” Says Wife Sunita Ahuja

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has broken her silence, saying that physical and emotional infidelity is deeply painful, but she will continue to love Govinda unconditionally until her last breath.

Speaking to Indian media, Sunita opened up about her 38-year marriage and the emotional strain caused by betrayal in love. She described infidelity as extremely hurtful and said she has always been very sensitive when it comes to loyalty.

“When you love someone, you should never betray them — it’s wrong, and I am very emotional about this,” she said. “I will love Govinda unconditionally till my last breath. Even if I am betrayed or my emotions are toyed with, I will endure the pain — though sometimes it becomes unbearable.”

Sunita added that emotional or physical betrayal should never be part of a relationship. “Our parents never taught us disloyalty. What we see happening today is a dark era,” she stated.

She also reflected on the challenges of being married to a star. “Being an artist’s wife, especially a hero’s wife, is not easy. After 38 years, I have realized that a hero’s wife must have a heart of stone and should not be overly emotional like in youth, when love blinds you.”

Sunita acknowledged that both she and Govinda made mistakes in their marriage but learned to manage them with age. “After having children, one must exercise even more control over oneself,” she added.
