Indian Air Chief Claims Downing Pakistani Jets After 90 Days — ‘Perhaps Intoxicated,’ Say Pakistani Security Sources

Islamabad: Pakistani security sources have ridiculed recent remarks made by India’s military leadership, saying the **Indian Army and Air Chiefs’ statements about “wiping Pakistan off the map” appear to be made under the influence of delusion — or perhaps something stronger**.
According to **Express News**, security officials, while briefing the media, said:
> “It took the Indian Air Chief 90 days to think about shooting down Pakistani aircraft — perhaps there’s something in his glass.”
The sources added that unlike India, **Pakistan’s armed forces remain completely united and professional**, with no internal divisions.
They further noted that **India is increasingly transforming its military under the Hindutva ideology**, politicizing its defense institutions. “We have always presented facts transparently — how many aircraft were downed and under what circumstances. The world knows our capability and resolve,” the officials stated.
The comments come in response to **a recent claim by the Indian Air Chief**, who alleged that India had downed six Pakistani aircraft — a statement that has drawn widespread criticism and mockery, with observers calling it **another embarrassment for New Delhi** on the global stage.
