Heavy Rains Lash Parts of Sindh, More Showers Expected Till October 3

KARACHI:Several cities of Sindh experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds late Monday night, disrupting routine life and power supply in some areas.
In **Tando Allahyar**, heavy showers with gusty winds led to a suspension of electricity supply. **Sanghar** also witnessed intermittent downpours throughout the night. Torrential rains were reported in **Sujawal, Matli, Tando Adam, and Tando Muhammad Khan**, where roads were submerged and low-lying areas faced waterlogging.
According to the **Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)**, more rainfall with strong winds is expected across Sindh from **today until October 3**. Coastal and southern districts including **Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and Tharparkar** are likely to receive **intermittent showers under the influence of sea winds**.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious of possible **urban flooding, power outages, and travel disruptions** during the spell.
