Iraq Imposes Age Restriction for Pilgrims Visiting Holy Sites

ISLAMABAD: Iraqi authorities have introduced new regulations for pilgrims visiting holy sites, setting an age limit for applicants.
According to the new guidelines, men under the age of 50 will not be issued pilgrimage visas if they apply alone. However, those under 50 may obtain a visa if they apply along with their families.
A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed the development, stating that the new policy aims to regulate the flow of visitors and ensure better management during pilgrimage seasons.
