Balochistan Assembly Committee Reviews Draft Laws on Levies Force, Forensic Science Agency

QUETTA:A meeting of the **Balochistan Assembly Standing Committee on Home, Tribal Affairs, and PDMA** was held at the assembly committee room under the chairmanship of **Haji Ali Madad Jatak**, member of the provincial assembly and senior PPP leader.
During the session, Haji Ali Madad Jatak was formally elected as the **new chairman of the standing committee**. Members of the assembly, including **Mir Zareen Khan Magsi, Asghar Tareen, Ubaid Gorgage**, Additional Home Secretary **Hamza Shafqat**, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
The committee deliberated on the **draft law 2025** concerning the **Balochistan Levies Force** and the establishment of the **Balochistan Forensic Science Agency**. Legislators discussed various clauses of the draft and reviewed security matters related to Levies and law and order in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Jatak emphasized that the **Forensic Science Agency would significantly improve the investigation process**, ensuring transparency and scientific accuracy in criminal inquiries.
Assembly members congratulated Haji Ali Madad Jatak on his election as chairman and expressed hope that under his leadership, the committee would frame effective recommendations regarding key provincial institutions, ultimately providing greater relief and facilities to the public.
