Insecurity and Corruption Have Robbed Balochistan of Peace: Maulana Hidayatur Rehman

QUETTA – Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and member of the Provincial Assembly, has stated that insecurity and corruption have stripped Balochistan of its peace. He urged the youth to make the pen, knowledge, and technology their weapons instead of the Kalashnikov.

Addressing a certificate distribution ceremony for the Al-Khidmat Bano Qabil program at Dera Allah Yar, Jaffarabad, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman emphasized the critical need to steer young people away from weapons and drugs while equipping them with modern education and skills.

“Insecurity and corruption have taken away Balochistan’s peace,” he said, adding that Jamaat-e-Islami, through the Bano Qabil program, has planned to equip hundreds of thousands of students and young people across Balochistan with education, skills, and technology .

Bano Qabil: Empowering Youth Through Modern Skills
The Bano Qabil program, a nationwide initiative aimed at providing free IT and digital skill training to young people, has empowered thousands of youth across Pakistan . Maulana Hidayatur Rehman described it as an effective means of providing dignified employment opportunities to youth .

He noted that youth should not fall into despair and uncertainty. Instead, they should choose the path of knowledge, skill, and positive struggle . “Make your relationship with pen and book stronger, and by acquiring modern IT skills and other technical expertise, create a better future for yourselves and your families,” he advised .

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Bashir Ahmed Mandai, Bano Qabil Balochistan Director Tayyab Farid Khan, education experts, business community representatives, teachers, and a large number of successful students.

Mega Hospital Project in Jaffarabad
Later, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman visited the under-construction Al-Khidmat Hospital in Jaffarabad and reviewed the construction work. He stated that the mega project of the Al-Khidmat Foundation is aimed at providing quality and better healthcare services to the people of the area .

Bashir Ahmed Mandai, Provincial President of the Kisan Board Lala Bakhsh Khan Khosa, and Provincial Deputy General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Jaffarabad Muhammad Yousuf Mangrio accompanied him during the visit.

“This will serve humanity and bring relief to the people,” the Maulana said, adding that the people of Jaffarabad would soon have access to the best quality and affordable healthcare facilities .
