Fire Breaks Out During Takeoff of American Airlines Flight, Passengers Evacuated

Denver: A dramatic incident occurred on an American Airlines flight bound for Miami when a fire broke out during takeoff. The aircraft was immediately halted on the runway, and passengers were swiftly evacuated using emergency slides.
The flight had 173 passengers and 6 crew members on board. Aviation authorities reported that the fire was caused by a malfunction in the landing gear. As the plane reached takeoff speed, a loud noise was heard, and smoke began to billow from the aircraft, prompting the pilot to halt the takeoff immediately.
Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the airport and managed to control the fire. One passenger suffered minor injuries, while the rest of the passengers remained unharmed. Speaking to ABC News, one passenger recalled the terrifying moment, stating, “Seeing the fire and smoke, everyone panicked.”

The airline expressed regret over the incident and confirmed that the passengers were sent to Miami on an alternative flight. The original aircraft has been removed from service for a thorough inspection.
