Provincial Government Spokesperson Criticizes Delay in Teaching Test Results Under SB
Quetta:Shahid Rind, spokesperson for the provincial government, expressed dismay over the delay in receiving results of teaching tests conducted under the Service Bureau (SB). He stated that Chief Minister Mir Sarrfraz Bugti has expressed displeasure over the non-receipt of results by the Education Department.
Rind mentioned that despite court orders and four letters to the SB, the results have not been provided. He highlighted that the Education Department has violated agreements in multiple cases related to SB contracts.
According to the spokesperson, the teaching tests under SB were supposed to be conducted by SB itself, but they were outsourced to a third party. As per the agreement memorandum, complainants expected results to be announced within seven days.
It was agreed that results would be announced in May 2023, but the matter went to court in June 2023. Rind stated that the Chief Minister has directed legal notices to be issued to the SB University and has ordered the CMIT to investigate the delays in this matter.
The government’s stance on the SB test issue is clear, according to Rind, who assured that court orders would be followed strictly. Recruitment will be purely based on contractual obligations. The scrutiny and interview stages will commence only after the release of results.
