China Condemns U.S. Strike on Iranian Nuclear Facilities: Foreign Ministry

Beijing: China has strongly condemned the recent U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, which are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to a statement published on the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s official website, the move by the United States is a serious violation of the United Nations Charter and is likely to further escalate tensions in the Middle East.
As reported by Reuters, the Chinese Foreign Ministry urged all parties, especially Israel, to immediately cease hostilities, ensure the protection of civilians, and begin dialogue and negotiations.
