Imran Khan Appointed as Patron-in-Chief of PTI; Party Announces Nationwide Protest Plans
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has appointed its founder, Imran Khan, as the Patron-in-Chief of the party. The announcement was made by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan during an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail.
Barrister Gohar shared details about PTI’s upcoming nationwide protest campaign. He stated that during the protests, Imran Khan will be represented by Omar Ayub and Salman Akram Raja. Meanwhile, Ali Amin Gandapur will focus on governance matters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Gohar further stated that he has been assigned the responsibility of diplomatic engagements during the protest movement, emphasizing that he remains the party chairman and will continue to represent PTI in legal proceedings before the High Court.
