Prime Minister Meets Saudi, Emirati, and Kuwaiti Ambassadors, Expresses Desire for Regional Peace Cooperation

Islamabad (Qudrat News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings with the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kuwait stationed in Pakistan, where the diplomats expressed their shared desire to work alongside Pakistan to promote peace and security in the region.
According to Dawn News, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki at the Prime Minister’s House. During the meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and thanked the Saudi leadership and people for their continuous support.
The Prime Minister highlighted Saudi Arabia’s longstanding solidarity with Pakistan, stating that Pakistan condemns all forms of terrorism. He mentioned that Pakistan has made great sacrifices in the fight against terrorism over the years and categorically rejected India’s baseless allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pulwama attack. He reiterated his demand for a transparent and impartial international investigation into the incident.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged Saudi Arabia and other brotherly nations to apply pressure on India to de-escalate tensions in the region. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire for peace and stability in South Asia. In response, the Saudi Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for sharing his views and emphasized that Saudi Arabia is keen to work with Pakistan to ensure peace and security in the region.
In another meeting, UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi met with the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister’s House. The Prime Minister thanked the UAE for its unwavering support for Pakistan. The two discussed the regional situation following the Pulwama incident.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism and condemns every act of terrorism in the region. He highlighted the sacrifices made by Pakistan, including the loss of 90,000 lives and 152 billion dollars in economic damage. The Prime Minister also rejected India’s baseless allegations and said that India’s recent actions aim to divert attention from Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts.
UAE’s Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi expressed his commitment to working with Pakistan for regional peace and security.
Finally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador, where they had detailed discussions about the Pulwama incident. The Prime Minister stressed that Pakistan and Kuwait have always stood by each other. He mentioned looking forward to the visit of the Kuwaiti Crown Prince to Pakistan.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s stance against regional terrorism and reiterated that Pakistan has made significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He rejected India’s allegations linking Pakistan to the Pulwama incident without any evidence and offered international investigation into the matter. He also stated that Pakistan cannot afford any actions that would jeopardize regional peace and security.
The Kuwaiti Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for sharing Pakistan’s position and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to working together for peace and stability in the region.
