Hania Aamir’s Bollywood Film “Sardar Ji 3” Faces Setbacks Amid Controversy

Lahore: Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, who boasts an impressive 18.3 million followers on Instagram and is one of the most popular social media personalities in Pakistan, has recently made headlines for her role in the upcoming Indian Punjabi film “Sardar Ji 3.”**

The film, which stars Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa in lead roles, completed shooting in the UK a few months ago. Fans of Hania Aamir were eagerly awaiting its release, but following the recent Pahalgam incident, the film’s release now faces significant hurdles.

Negative sentiments surrounding the film began to emerge on Indian social media platforms, leading to speculations that the film could face a potential ban. A large number of Pakistani social media users have expressed their support for the possible ban, criticizing Pakistani artists for compromising their dignity in pursuit of opportunities in India. Many accused Hania Aamir of doing the same.

One user expressed disappointment, saying, “Unfortunately, even her condemnation of the Pahalgam incident didn’t help.” Another sarcastically remarked, “What was the use of making Instagram reels influenced by Bollywood?” Several users noted that Hania’s PR team in India seems to have lost its effectiveness after the controversy.

Some took a harsher stance, stating, “Hania has embarrassed the entire nation, and now the same nation has turned its back on her.”

Although Hania Aamir condemned the Pahalgam incident, her stance appears to have done little to change the increasingly negative attitude towards her in India. This controversy has sparked an ongoing debate about the challenges Pakistani artists face when pursuing opportunities in Bollywood.
