Ali Hassan Zehri Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack on Jaffer Express, Pledges to Eradicate Terrorism

Quetta:Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader, Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Cooperative, and spokesperson for President Asif Ali Zardari, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffer Express, which resulted in the martyrdom of security personnel, engine drivers, and passengers. He termed the act a cowardly, barbaric, and unforgivable act of terrorism.

Zehri stated that holding innocent passengers and railway staff hostage is not only an attack on the state’s authority but also part of a malicious conspiracy to disrupt peace in Balochistan. He further emphasized that such heinous acts are serious crimes, and those involved, including foreign sponsors, should not be granted any leniency.

The minister stressed that these terrorist elements are exploiting the minds of vulnerable individuals, luring them with promises of money, and trying to destabilize Pakistan’s peace to fulfill the objectives of their foreign masters. He reassured that the government and the people will never let these evil intentions succeed.

Mir Ali Hassan Zehri assured that the Balochistan government and law enforcement agencies will not tolerate these elements and will take swift and severe action against them. He expressed solidarity with the hostages and their families, saying that the people of Balochistan will not be intimidated, and the enemies will be confronted unitedly.

Zehri also vowed that those who are trying to disturb the peace in Balochistan and their facilitators will be made accountable, and the government will ensure the protection of the citizens at all costs. He condemned the actions of a few misguided individuals who are shedding innocent blood under foreign instructions and called for their accountability.

The provincial minister made it clear that such cowardly acts of terrorism aim to weaken the political and economic stability of Pakistan, especially Balochistan, and push it toward instability. However, these efforts will never succeed.

Zehri further stated that the Pakistani nation is standing resolute with its security forces to confront terrorism, and the perpetrators will soon meet their fate. He issued a stern warning to the terrorists to release the hostages, saying that these cowardly attacks cannot shake the nation’s determination. He pledged that the sacrifices of the martyrs will be avenged.

Finally, he prayed for the martyrs, asking Allah to grant them a place in His mercy and patience to the bereaved families. Zehri reaffirmed that the whole nation will triumph in the fight against terrorism, and the Balochistan government will follow a zero-tolerance policy against these criminal elements.
