Wedding Card of Maryam Nawaz’s Son Junaid Safdar’s Second Marriage Goes Viral on Social Media

Lahore: The wedding card for the second marriage of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar, has gone viral on social media. According to the card, the Walima ceremony will be held on January 18, 2026, at Jati Umra.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had traveled to Dubai in December along with Maryam Nawaz in connection with his grandson Junaid Safdar’s wedding arrangements.

Reports about the preparations for Maryam Nawaz’s son’s second marriage have been circulating for some time. Junaid Safdar’s soon-to-be wife, Shanzeh Sheikh, is the granddaughter of Ruhail Asghar.
Ruhail Asghar had earlier shared that the wedding ceremonies would take place from January 16 to 18. The Mehndi ceremony of the bride and groom will be held at Jati Umra, the Baraat will take place at Lake City, and the Walima will also be hosted at Jati Umra.
It is worth noting that Junaid Safdar’s previous marriage was to the daughter of prominent businessman Saifur Rehman, which ended in divorce in October 2023.
