ICC Releases Official Anthem for Champions Trophy: ‘Jito Bazi Khel Ke’

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the anthem for the upcoming Champions Trophy, titled *”Jito Bazi Khel Ke,”* accompanied by the message “The wait is over.” The anthem features the mesmerizing voice of renowned singer Atif Aslam and showcases the flags of all participating nations, including Pakistan and India, along with young dancers wearing jerseys of different teams.
The video has quickly gone viral on social media, with users sharing a variety of opinions. One user commented, “The entire budget went to the singer, and they shot the video in one alley with side artists.” Another user, Isha, expressed relief, saying, “Thank God, Aima Baig isn’t included in this anthem.”
Aqsa praised the vibe of the anthem, writing, “What a vibe!” Meanwhile, a user named Danish said, “Atif Aslam will never disappoint us.” Some even compared the anthem to the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) anthem sung by Ali Zafar, claiming that Zafar’s anthem could not be beaten. Another user expressed disappointment, writing that they had expected more from Atif Aslam.
The Champions Trophy is set to kick off on February 19 at Karachi’s National Stadium, with Pakistan playing New Zealand in the opening match. The highly anticipated match between traditional rivals Pakistan and India will take place in Dubai on February 23.
Eight teams will compete in the ICC Champions Trophy, including Pakistan, Australia, England, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, and New Zealand. These teams have been divided into two groups: Group A includes host Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
The Indian team will play all three of their group matches in Dubai, and the first semi-final will also be held there. The second semi-final and the final are scheduled to take place in Lahore. However, if India reaches the final, the match will be moved to Dubai.
