Islamabad:Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik recently opened up about the trolling she faces over her dressing choices, particularly when wearing skirts. In a recent appearance on a private show, she shared her thoughts on the criticism she endures and how it affects her spiritual life.
Veena Malik responded to those who criticize her dressing, stating, “I don’t show it, but my connection with Allah is very strong. I get trolled for wearing a skirt, and they say, ‘Now that you’ve worn a skirt, you can’t ask for forgiveness anymore.'”
She added that after facing such criticism, she read more about her religion and the Quran. She emphasized that once someone reads the Quran, they understand how to lead their life and how to respond when others treat them unfairly.
During the show, Veena also revealed details about a mystery man named Sheryar, with whom she has been talking for the last four months. She shared that Sheryar’s love for her is 15 to 16 years old, and he is 30 years old.
Veena Malik had previously married businessman Asad Bashir Khattak in 2013 in Dubai, and they have two children together. However, their marriage ended after three years, with Veena citing a lack of compatibility as the reason.
Veena Malik has worked not only in Pakistan but also in India, where she spent several years after moving to the country in 2010.
