Balochistan Assembly Members Strongly Condemn Zahri Attack, Pledge to Uphold Peace and Security
Quetta:The members of the Balochistan Assembly have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in the Zahri area, with several prominent leaders emphasizing their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
Member of the Balochistan Assembly, Khair Jan Baloch, expressed his condemnation of the Zahri incident, stating that such acts of violence would not intimidate the public. He stressed that the terrorists’ objective was only to instill fear among the people, but assured that their cowardly attempts would not succeed. He added that the protection and security of Balochistan’s people remained the government’s top priority, and that they would continue to strengthen their unity and resolve in the face of such challenges.
Meanwhile, Haji Ali Madad Jatk, the newly elected member of the provincial assembly and former provincial minister, also condemned the terrorist actions, reiterating that these efforts would not succeed in terrorizing the people. He emphasized the government’s and institutions’ responsibility to ensure public safety and maintain peace. He stated that such attacks were an attempt to weaken the collective resolve and unity of the people, but the government and security agencies stood firm against terrorism.
Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, also condemned the attack in Zahri, describing it as a blow to Balochistan’s development. He highlighted that such acts of violence harmed the people and their property, and could not intimidate the public. Bizenjo assured that the government and the people of Balochistan would stand united to counter these challenges and continue working towards building a peaceful and prosperous province.
He further expressed his confidence in the security forces, praising them for successfully thwarting the terrorists’ plans and pushing them back. He also sent a clear message to the terrorists, stating that the Pakistani nation, alongside its armed forces, would continue to fight terrorism and would not hesitate to make any sacrifices necessary to restore peace in the region.
All leaders called for unity among the people, urging them to join hands with the government and security agencies to combat terrorism and restore peace in Balochistan. They reassured the public that the authorities would take stringent measures to bring the perpetrators of the Zahri attack to justice.
