Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori Blames External Forces for May 9 and November 24 Incidents
Islamabad:Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori**, has stated that political parties responsible for the incidents of **May 9** and **November 24** have received funding and support from foreign powers. Tessori emphasized that everyone is working together to address the disruptions caused by the founder of the **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** and is hopeful that through dialogue, the issues can be resolved.
In an interview with the media at the **Mazar-e-Quaid** in Karachi, Governor Tessori remarked, “There is a foreign hand behind the parties responsible for incidents like May 9 and November 24. We are all working together to fix the damage caused by the founder of PTI. We need to sit together through consultation and find solutions to the problems we face. External forces do not want Pakistan to prosper and stand among the leading nations.”
### Striving for Pakistan’s Development
Tessori referred to the struggle that **Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah** endured in securing Pakistan’s independence, stating that Pakistan is currently passing through difficult times, but efforts are being made collectively to bring the country to the level envisioned by Jinnah and **Allama Iqbal**. “The nation is aware of the challenges we are facing. We must not lose hope. Quaid-e-Azam said that Muslims do not falter in times of adversity, and as a nation, we must work hard and move forward. With hard work, we will overcome this difficult phase,” he said.
### Positive Economic Indicators
The Governor highlighted the positive developments in Pakistan’s economy, noting that the **Pakistan Stock Market** is showing significant growth, and the **interest rates** are declining. He also acknowledged the support Pakistan is receiving from countries like **Saudi Arabia, UAE, China,** and **Turkey**, who stand by Pakistan in these challenging times. Tessori expressed confidence that the **President** and **Prime Minister** of Pakistan are united in their efforts to steer the country out of its economic crisis.
### External Forces’ Objection to Pakistan’s Prosperity
Tessori also pointed out that **external powers** do not want Pakistan to become an economically prosperous nation. “These powers know that Pakistan is a nuclear-armed country, with more than 60% of its population being young. They are aware that the **Pakistan Armed Forces** are dedicated to defending the borders,” he stated. He emphasized that **Army Chief** General **Asim Munir** is working alongside the government to resolve the economic crisis and ensure the safety of the country’s borders.
Tessori also mentioned that foreign powers are concerned about projects like the **Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)**, which aims to improve Pakistan’s economic and social structure. “These external forces are planning to destabilize Pakistan. There are incidents in **Balochistan, Quetta, and Kurram**, where foreign involvement is evident. These powers are actively working to prevent Pakistan from moving in the right direction,” he added.
### Foreign Influence on Political Stability
The Governor of Sindh made a strong assertion that the political instability in Pakistan, such as the events of **May 9** and **November 24**, is linked to foreign interference. “There is foreign funding behind the political parties responsible for these incidents. They too recognize that dialogue is essential for finding a solution, which is a positive sign,” he said.
Tessori expressed concern that small errors in policy had led to instability in neighboring countries’ borders. “We need to sit together and discuss solutions to these problems through consultation,” he urged.
### Reflections on PTI’s Vision of ‘New Pakistan’
Commenting on the PTI’s vision of a “New Pakistan,” Tessori pointed out that the country is now striving to return to the principles envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam. He emphasized that everyone must work together to repair the damage caused by PTI’s founder, **Imran Khan**. “Ask any business leader how much the ‘New Pakistan’ model harmed the economy. Under ‘New Pakistan,’ all of our neighboring countries were upset with Pakistan. The social media landscape became a platform for silencing critics, and respected individuals, including judiciary members and government officials, were afraid to speak,” Tessori stated.
In conclusion, the Governor stressed that it is crucial to work collectively for the nation’s progress and ensure that Pakistan regains its rightful place in the international community.
