Chief Minister’s Skilled Youth Program Launches to Help Pakistani Youth Secure Jobs in the Middle East
Lahore: The Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has initiated the Chief Minister’s Skilled Youth Program, aimed at assisting young Pakistanis in finding employment opportunities in the Middle East.
Under this program, Pakistani youth will receive training required for securing jobs abroad, ensuring their access to international employment opportunities. This initiative is expected to strengthen both their future prospects and Pakistan’s economy.
In the first phase, 10,000 young individuals will be provided with skill training based on the specific needs of Middle Eastern employers, with a focus on high-demand sectors such as healthcare, construction, hospitality, and others. The goal is to equip participants with the necessary skills that align with the region’s labor market requirements.
During a meeting on the program, Adnan Afzal Chatha, Head of the Chief Minister’s Task Force for Skills Development, emphasized that the government has identified key skills training areas that will make it easier for Punjab’s youth to access employment in international markets.
According to PSDF CEO Ahmad Khan, the program will play a significant role in enhancing Pakistan’s international reputation by providing skilled workers for global markets, ultimately benefiting both the workforce and the country’s global standing.
