Karachi: Renowned morning show host and actress Shaista Lodhi recently shared an effective weight loss tip based on her personal experience. During a recent appearance on a morning show, Shaista provided several helpful insights, one of which included a useful method for controlling weight.
Shaista revealed that if you want to lose weight quickly, the key is to eliminate white salt from your diet. She explained the negative effects of salt on the body, stating that while salt is essential, its type and quantity should be carefully considered.
She recommended that cutting out white salt for just three days could result in a weight loss of at least 1.5 kilograms. This is because eliminating salt helps reduce water retention and bloating.
The actress suggested replacing white salt with healthier alternatives like Himalayan salt, Lahore salt, or pink salt, but emphasized that these should also be used in moderation. Excessive salt intake can negatively impact mental health and cause the body to feel bloated.
