15 Terrorists Killed in Security Forces Operation in Zhob; Pakistani Soldier Martyred
Rawalpindi: December 10, 2024 – In a successful operation by Pakistan’s security forces in the Zhob district of Balochistan, 15 terrorists were killed, and a soldier of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom during an intense firefight.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation, based on intelligence reports, was carried out in the Samabza area of Zhob on December 10. The security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout, resulting in the elimination of 15 militants. During the operation, heavy weapons, ammunition, and explosives were seized from the slain terrorists.
The ISPR confirmed that in the fierce exchange of fire, Sepoy Arif ur Rehman (32 years old, resident of Manshera) made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. He fought bravely and was martyred during the operation.
In the aftermath, security forces have launched a sanitization operation in the area to neutralize any remaining terrorists. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain steadfast in their commitment to eliminate terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of their brave soldiers strengthen this resolve.
