Shair Afzal Marwat Granted Protective Bail Until December 20, Ordered to Appear in Relevant Court
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has granted protective bail to Shair Afzal Marwat until December 20, directing him to appear before the relevant courts. The court also issued an order preventing both Islamabad and Punjab police from arresting Marwat during this period.
The Islamabad Police submitted a report to the court, indicating that 15 cases have been filed against Shair Afzal Marwat in the capital. The court instructed the Inspector General (IG) of Punjab to provide details of the cases registered against Marwat in the province. It further directed that the DSP Legal should contact the Punjab government to obtain the required records.
Until the records are provided, the court has instructed Punjab police not to arrest Marwat in any case.
The protective bail granted by the court allows Marwat to avoid arrest until he appears before the relevant courts on December 20.
