Gold Prices in Pakistan See Significant Increase Again
Karachi: After a recent decline, gold prices in Pakistan have once again risen sharply. This increase comes in the wake of rising gold prices in the international market, which have impacted local rates.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold in Pakistan has risen by Rs 2,100 per tola, bringing the price to Rs 277,300 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 1,800, now priced at Rs 237,470.
The association also reported that the price of gold in the international market has risen by $21, reaching $2,661 per ounce.
It is important to note that just a day earlier, on Thursday, the international bullion market had seen a minor decrease in gold prices, dropping by $7 to $2,640 per ounce. Locally, gold prices had fallen by Rs 700, bringing the price of one tola to Rs 275,200.
