Imran Khan’s Wife Bushra Bibi and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Flee Islamabad, Reach Mansehra for Press Conference
Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, have reportedly fled Islamabad and reached Mansehra. The duo is expected to address a significant press conference where important announcements are likely to be made.
According to PTI sources, Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, and National Assembly opposition leader Umar Ayub are currently staying at the residence of Provincial Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati in Mansehra. Ali Amin Gandapur is scheduled to hold an emergency press conference at the PTI secretariat in Mansehra at 11 a.m. today.
The couple fled Islamabad late on Tuesday night as police initiated a crackdown to vacate Blue Area. PTI sources revealed that while escaping, Bushra Bibi and Chief Minister Gandapur left their party workers behind amidst the security operation.
Security sources stated that law enforcement agencies successfully cleared the Blue Area and have launched a search operation to apprehend Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur. Earlier, Bushra Bibi had publicly declared that she would not leave Islamabad until Imran Khan’s release, raising questions about how PTI leaders managed to escape the protest site and reach Mansehra without being captured.
In a related development, Bushra Bibi’s driver has reportedly been arrested by security forces.
**Mass Arrests and Police Action**

This series of events comes amidst growing political tensions and protests following the detention of PTI leadership, with security forces now intensifying their efforts to quell unrest and prevent further violence.
