Old Video of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur Amid PTI Protest Goes Viral
Islamabad:A viral video showing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur caught in a confrontation with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers has been circulating on social media. In the footage, PTI activists can be seen surrounding Gandapur’s vehicle while chanting slogans demanding that he be sent to Adiala Jail.
During the altercation, Gandapur calmly responds to the protesters, saying, “I’m not going anywhere. I will go to a rest area, perform ablution, offer my prayers, and then return.” His assurance seems to calm the workers, who eventually allow him to leave.
The video quickly spread across various social media platforms, sparking widespread attention. However, a reporter from Geo News confirmed that the video is not recent. It was recorded on October 4, 2023, and has only now resurfaced online.
In recent developments, under Gandapur’s leadership, a PTI convoy reached the Hazro Interchange, with former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, also participating in the march.
