BISP Takes Key Steps to Address Complaints of Eligible Women Over Payments and Financial Assistance

ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is taking steps to resolve complaints from eligible women regarding payment delays, eligibility status and the non-receipt of financial assistance.
According to the programme’s official website, BISP Secretary held a live e-Kachehri on October 10, 2026, to listen directly to beneficiaries’ complaints and instructed the relevant officials to take action to resolve their issues.
How to Check BISP Payment and Eligibility
Eligible women can check their payment and eligibility status by entering their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) number on the official 8171 web portal.
Beneficiaries can also send their CNIC number via SMS to 8171 to verify payment-related information.
Authorities have advised beneficiaries to count their money themselves when receiving payments and ensure that no agent makes any unauthorised deductions from their financial assistance.
BISP said measures were also being taken to address complaints and facilitate eligible beneficiaries.
