Case Regarding Disqualification of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – The hearing of the case regarding the disqualification of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has been scheduled. According to media reports, the Federal Constitutional Court has fixed the disqualification case of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for hearing. A bench headed by Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan will conduct the hearing on October 15. Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat has challenged the appointment of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister.
Similarly, Captain (Retd) Safdar has appointed Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat as his lawyer in the matter related to Ahsan Bhoon Sahib. I will pursue the legal case on his behalf in this matter and, wherever necessary, represent him before the Supreme Judicial Council, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Pakistan Bar Council, Constitutional Court, and other relevant forums.
All proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the law, evidence, and professional principles.
On the other hand, big news has emerged for PTI regarding the bail of Bushra Bibi, wife of the PTI founder, in the 190 million pound case. According to media reports, the Federal Constitutional Court has fixed the case related to the bail of Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, for hearing. A two-member bench comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Ali Baqir Najfi will conduct the hearing. The case will be heard on Thursday, October 15.
In the 190 million pound case, a plea had been filed before the Federal Constitutional Court seeking the suspension of Bushra Bibi’s sentence.
PTI had filed the petition in the Federal Constitutional Court through Advocate Salman Safdar. However, yesterday, the hearing on the petition filed in the Lahore High Court seeking details of the cases against former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, was adjourned without proceedings. The two-member bench’s member, Justice Amjad Parvez, recused himself from hearing the petition. A two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Miss Aalia Neelum and Justice Amjad Parvez heard Bushra Bibi’s petition.
