KP auditor general extends TMEAs’ PLA accounts until October 31

PESHAWAR: The Auditor General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved an extension of the existing PLA accounts of Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) until October 31, 2026.

As per reports, the auditors made this decision, granting the extension in the public interest at the request of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department.

All TMAs must submit their reconciled monthly accounts of expenditures and receipts by the 10th of every month.

The notification further stated that all TMA expenditures and receipts will remain subject to audit by the Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan.
