Two Brothers of Suspected Mastermind Detained in Karachi Farmhouse Mobile Theft Case

KARACHI: Police have made significant progress in the case involving the theft of mobile phones belonging to more than 50 women at a farmhouse in Gadap, Karachi.
According to police, two brothers of the alleged main suspect have been detained in connection with the theft. The women had reportedly been brought to the farmhouse for employment when their mobile phones were allegedly stolen.
Police said they have also traced the location of the main suspect. Following the incident, the location of the suspect’s original mobile number was traced to Gujranwala.
Two of the suspect’s four brothers have been taken into custody, police said. With the assistance of the detained brothers, police also spoke to the main suspect over the phone.
During the conversation, the suspect claimed that he was currently in Kashmir, according to police.
Police have expressed confidence that the main suspect will be arrested soon.
The incident occurred a few days ago when an event organiser allegedly fled with dozens of mobile phones belonging to more than 50 women who had been called to the farmhouse for employment.
